MODALITIES:
-
Basic Reflexology – massage
based around a system of points in the hands and feet thought to correspond, or
"reflex," to all areas of the body.
-
Bellanina® Natural
Facelift (formerly Belavi Facelift
Massage) - the luxurious, safe, gentle method of treating the problems of
sagging, aging skin without surgery. It's a series of massage techniques
using acupressure points, lymphatic drainage strokes and facial massage
strokes designed to firm aging skin, stimulate blood and oxygen, release
toxins and soften lines. The treatment also provides luscious hot towel
wraps and the fabulous Honeylift massage treatment. Additionally, a massage
to the hands, feet, shoulders, neck and scalp conclude this luxurious
session and your client leaves refreshed, relaxed and pampered.
-
Chair Massage – is
administered while the client is clothed and seated in a specially designed
chair. These chairs most often slope forward allowing access to the large
muscles of the back. On-site massage usually lasts between
15 and
30 minutes and
is intended to relax and improve circulation.
-
Clinical/Therapeutic Massage – involves the
manipulation of the soft tissue structures of the body to prevent and alleviate
pain, discomfort, muscle spasm, and stress; and, to promote health and wellness.
-
Deep (Hot) Stone Therapy – utilizing heated stones to
soften tight muscles, trigger points, and soothe chronic muscle pain while
lessening discomfort during therapy. Also used with Swedish relaxation
massage to de-stress and relax with the added warmth from smooth stones being
pressed against the skin.
-
Deep Tissue Massage – directed specifically to individual muscle fibers. Its purpose is to un-stick
the fibers of a muscle while releasing deeply-held patterns of tension, removing
toxins, relaxing, soothing and thereby re-educating, as well as encouraging the
muscle to operate at full capacity. It is both corrective and therapeutic.
-
Pregnancy Massage – Acquire special skills
in working from preconception massage through pregnancy and labor to post partum
massage. Contraindications, proper positioning, and specific routine are
covered.
-
Reiki II – (pronounced Ray-Key) is a method
of natural healing based on the application of Universal Life Force Energy (the
name literally means Universal Life Force Energy). Assists the body in healing
itself by bringing body, mind and spirit into proper alignment.
-
Swedish Relaxation Massage – a system of long strokes, kneading and friction techniques on the more
superficial layers of the muscles, combined with active and passive movements of
the joints.
